The nature of the business, agency or other organization will dictate the background check requirement, and determine whether or not you need electronic fingerprinting via Live Scan. No two requesting agencies are the same, and only the requesting agencies will know what their own background check requirements are. As a first step, you need to ask for the correct Live Scan form from your requesting agency.
Step 2—Complete the Live Scan Request Form
Make sure to fill out your Request for Live Scan Services Form as completely as possible before you arrive at J&H Live Scan Service Providers for your appointment. Your requesting agency should provide you with this information, but make sure to confirm with them that this information is present and correct. The ORI is the code assigned to that agency by the California Department of Justice.
